How "us introverts" can connect meaningfully with others (from @sachac)

This is such a great presentation.  I love the hand-drawn style, the storytelling, and most of all, the content!

    Here is a recap:

#1 - It is OK to be an introvert.  Don't fake it.

#2 - It is not about selling yourself, it is about helping others and sharing generously.

#3 - Do things that are interesting and make people want to talk to you.

#4 - Find ways to help people. Learn about them and put make connections that they haven't made on their own.

#5 - Practice often.  Follow up on everything.

#6 - Make it easy for people to get to know you

#7 (You have to see the slide presentation, the graphic is so good it can't be easily put into words)

  • Brock Butler's Posterous

My days revolve around helping my team create and sell a market-leading product that enables our customers to create mobile devices with outstanding location technology performance (http://bit.ly/dfPo4P). All the while, I try to inspire those I work with to be their best in career and life.

By night and weekend, I work to help others benefit from the wonderful abundance of information in the world. Fogo Media (http://www.fogomedia.com), an early-stage startup, is one way I strive to realize this vision.

My wife, son, family, and friends enable me to enjoy life. They inspire me, and help me, to do great things.

Whenever possible, I enjoy the experiences created by good food and wine (http://www.togethertasting.com).
